In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Tangled Title Fund (TTF) has changed or relaxed certain procedures to ensure Philadelphians can continue to apply for grants related to obtaining title to their homes. For more information on the full TTF process, please visit this section of our website.
The current crisis brings with it daily changes. In addition to reviewing the below, please contact the TTF Administrator when you are about to submit an application and/or disbursement request to see if there are updates about TTF’s operations. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time!

The TTF Advisory Committee will still review submissions on the regular monthly cadence. The next submission deadline as of this posting is Monday, April 6, and the Committee will send its decisions during the week of April 13.
TTF will continue making decisions on disbursement requests, but it will not issue checks until further notice, unless there is a special circumstance and the check can be used immediately.
TTF will accept applications with e-signatures or those signed by the client representative on the client’s behalf. TTF still requires all supporting documentation detailed in the application, except for a full title report.
In lieu of a full title report, please gather the below information and complete the title report section on page 4 of the TTF application with said information. Please also state in the case summary that you have not included a full title report.
Note to Philadelphia VIP volunteers: VIP is still able to provide you with a title search for your VIP homeownership case(s).
