Client seeks assistance with an urgent landlord tenant matter. The eviction complaint seeks partially unpaid rent for the months of August 2018 through February 2019, along with late fees, unpaid water and attorney’s fees. Client, who has always lived in the property with a roommate until the beginning of this month, has struggled for some time to pay the rent because of her difficulty getting regular work hours. She was initially able to work out an agreement with the rental company and obtain rental assistance, but since August she has been unable to regularly pay her half of the rent. Client would like to negotiate a payment agreement with the rental company and remain in the property until she has found somewhere eels to live. Landlord is represented by Howard Ford. An eviction hearing is scheduled for March 26, 2019, at 8:45 am in Courtroom 3.
