Client seeks assistance with an urgent landlord tenant matter. The eviction complaint seeks September 2019 rent, attorney’s fees, water bill, and ongoing rent from the date of filing. Client lost her job in July 2019 and was unable to pay September 2019 rent and fell behind on utility payments. Client will start a new job in mid-November and has entered into a payment plan for the water bill. Client lives with her two daughters, one of whom is pregnant and due in the next couple of months. The complaint lists a monthly rent that is $100 more than what it is on the lease. Client would like until the end of January 2020 to save money and move out. Landlord is represented by Robert Cole, Esq. Eviction hearing is scheduled for November 14, 2019, at 12:45pm in Courtroom 3.
