Gracious Client seeks a volunteer to file a quiet title action to fulfill a rent-to-own agreement. Client entered into the rent-to-own agreement for a property in October 1997. The agreement stipulated that Client would receive title to the property after he paid off the mortgage on the property. The record owner passed away in 2017. Client finished paying off the mortgage in early 2023. The deceased record owner’s husband is cooperative and willing to carry out the agreement and transfer title but has been difficult to stay in touch with. A volunteer is needed to file a quiet title action and draft a deed transferring title to client. Client is Spanish-speaking; interpretation services are available upon request.
