Case #20-0044827

Client’s next conciliation conference scheduled for Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 1 pm. Client’s deceased mother took out the mortgage on her home in 2007. Client’s mother passed away April 2018. Client was not living in his mother’s home at the time of her death and assumed the executrix of his mother’s estate was paying the mortgage, but she was not. In May 2019, the mortgage company initiated foreclosure proceedings. Client moved into the home with his two brothers once he found out about the foreclosure. Client is working with a housing counselor, who has determined that client and his brothers can afford to assume the mortgage payments. Mother’s estate has now been fully probated, and client is on title to the home with one of his nephews. A volunteer is needed to represent client at his upcoming conciliation as well as subsequent conferences in the Diversion Program.
