Client needs assistance executing a deed of confirmation. Client is living in the property owned by herself and her deceased friend as joint tenants by right of survivorship. Client’s friend died in 1995, but client does not have his death certificate. Additionally, client is named by her maiden name on the deed, but all of her bills are under her married name. A volunteer is needed to draft a deed of confirmation transferring title to client under her married name. The volunteer will also need to obtain a death certificate for the client’s friend through the Department of Health.
