Client needs representation to obtain guardianship of her brother, who has Asperger’s syndrome and is unable to make financial and medical decisions for himself. The allegedly incapacitated person (AIP) already lives with client who manages his medication and must make most decisions for him. Client does not expect anyone to contest the matter. AIP’s parents are deceased and he has no children. The expert report has been sent to the doctor to be completed. A volunteer is needed to file a petition for guardianship and represent the client throughout the process.
