Client seeks representation at an eviction hearing scheduled for May 27, 2022, at 8:45 AM in Municipal Court. Client moved into the property with his wife in March 2011. They now have 2 young children in the home. Landlord is aware of the children in the home and had the property inspected for lead, but client does not recall receiving a lead certificate. Client is not listed on the complaint directly, but his address is and he was advised by the landlord that client is included in the eviction action. Client does not recall receiving a Certificate of Rental Suitability (CRS). Defenses include no Notice of Diversion Rights, possibly no lead certificate, and possible no CRS provided to client.
