Case #22-0047834

Client seeks representation at her first conciliation conference in a mortgage foreclosure action in Court of Common Pleas on October 6, 2022, at 9:00 am. Client lives in a home that is currently in the name of her deceased grandmother. Client lives in the home with her three adult sisters and their four young children. Client has been attempting to send in mortgage payments, but the mortgage company was sending them back because client’s name is not on the mortgage. Client and all other unknown heirs of her grandmother are being sued by the Bank of New York Mellon for about $40,000. Client has been connected to a housing counselor and is working with her counselor to get the financial information together to assume the loan. A volunteer is needed to represent client throughout the conciliation conference process. Client has a separate probate case open with VIP to resolve the title issue, which will be addressed once her mortgage foreclosure case is progressing.
