Case #22-0048018

Client seeks representation for a debt collection hearing in Municipal Court on September 8, 2022, at 9:15am. Client is being sued by Police and Fire Credit Union for about $10,000. Client opened the account in 2017. Client fell behind on payments in 2018 after a bad car accident which resulted in a severe head injury and an inability to work. Client believes she owed less than $4,000. In 2018, Client tried to arrange a payment plan but Plaintiff was unreceptive. Client’s goal is to negotiate the debt down to $4,000 so she can pay it off in one lump sum. Client has borrowed money from a family member in order to cover part of this debt. Client is dealing with serious health issues and has unstable employment at the moment. She does not want to enter into a payment plan only to default at a later time. An attorney is needed to negotiate on Client’s behalf and represent her at the upcoming hearing.
