Client would like help with a no-asset, no-fault divorce. Client and her husband were married in China in 2000 and separated in June 2021. Client’s husband likely will not agree to the divorce; however, they have lived separate and apart for more than one year, as such, his consent is not required under the statute. Although Client and her husband have two minor children together, custody is not at issue in this case. Client and her husband do not share any property or assets, and client does not wish to make any other economic claims. A volunteer is needed to initiate divorce proceedings and represent Client throughout the process. Client is Mandarin-speaking; interpretation services available upon request.
