Young client is facing eviction after reporting Landlord to L&I for electrical hazards and other habitability issues in March 2023. There are currently 11 open L&I violations; Client states that Landlord made some cheap repairs, but did not resolve the underlying issues. Client is behind on rent, but says that Landlord did not file for eviction until she reported him to L&I. Other defenses are available. Client would like to negotiate time to move out. Landlord is self-represented.
