Client vacated her apartment in December 2022 because her co-tenant was abusive. She asked her Landlord if she could break the lease, and Landlord stated that she needed to provide 30 days’ notice. Cl provided notice and moved out the next month. Co-tenant became delinquent on rent, and Landlord is now suing for possession and a money judgment. Client would like to avoid a judgment. Landlord is represented by Howard G. Ford, Esq. and co-tenant is represented by Sarah Kim Eisenhard, Esq.
