Grateful, sixty-year-old client needs help probating her father’s estate to obtain title to her home in order to receive repair assistance for a very leaky roof. Father, the deceased record owner, died intestate in 2007, leaving behind only client as his surviving heir. VIP assisted client with preparing a Tangled Title Fund application, which will be provided to the volunteer. A volunteer is asked to help client probate her father’s estate and prepare and execute a new deed putting title in her name.
