Young mother would like a will prepared to make sure her children are taken care of. She would like her four children to inherit the home, and has a couple of individual bequests of personal items she would like included in the will. Client has chosen her foster mother to serve as executor. Client has significant interest in the healthcare power of attorney, but would like to discuss it further with her foster mother and obtain some counsel on it from her volunteer. A volunteer is asked to counsel client on the documents, prepare the will and possibly the healthcare power of attorney and living will according to client’s wishes, and help her execute them.
