In 2020, Client opened an American Express business card to support the business he started. He paid on it for about a year but then his business failed. He tried to negotiate with American Express but they refused. American Express is now suing Client for about $11,950. Client’s goal is to negotiate the debt down and negotiate an affordable payment plan. A volunteer is needed to respond to the complaint and represent the Client throughout the process.
