Organized and responsive 48-year-old client needs help transferring the title of her home, which is currently owned by her grandmother and her two sons as tenants in common. Client’s grandmother died intestate in 2021. Client is still grieving her grandmother’s loss and is eager to close out this administrative chapter in her life to focus on her health, well-being and her sons. Her eldest son is willing to transfer his interest but her minor son cannot convey his interest at this time. A volunteer is needed to assist Client with probating her grandmother’s estate and drafting a deed that transfers partial title to Client. Client has already filled out a Tangled Title Fund (TTF) application to assist with the probate and title transfer process.
