Client is being sued by Capitol One for about $2600 in credit card debt and fees. Client fell behind on his bills due to financial hardship in Spring 2022 and stopped paying on the card. His goal is to negotiate the debt down and then negotiate a payment plan. A volunteer is needed to represent Client throughout the case. Client is also being sued on another debt with a hearing at the same time in Municipal Court. It is encouraged for a volunteer to take on both cases, but it is not required.
