Client fell behind in rent due to unemployment, but is recently employed and has been making payments to catch up on the $5K in back rent. Client plans to have his balance down to zero soon. Client is hoping to be able to remain in the property once the arrears are paid. Client says that Landlord’s counsel has indicated that some of the late fees could be waived, so client is hoping for an agreement to that end to allow him to more easily get his balance paid in full.
