Case #24-0062249

Urgent

Hearing: June 24, 2024 at 8:45 AM

Client’s landlord has filed to evict him, despite the fact that they are in an ongoing ejectment case that is currently in appeal in Superior Court. Landlord filed to eject client, claiming he was not a tenant; however, landlord has now filed to evict client with a fraudulent lease. Client has been representing himself throughout the ejectment case, and is hoping for an attorney to represent him in the eviction proceeding. Client hopes to have the eviction case dismissed due to the current ejectment case in Superior Court, but also has multiple landlord-tenant defenses, including habitability issues and no lead certification. Landlord is unrepresented.
