Philadelphia has long had one of the highest rates of homeownership among American cities. Our low-income neighbors often lack title to their homes and cannot access government services or make repairs.
Learn how you can use your law license to help.
Please join Philadelphia VIP and Fox Rothschild on December 6 from 12-2:30pm for a CLE training on quiet title actions to help low-income Philadelphians get title to their homes. This training will be led by Fox Rothschild’s Bob Tintner and Ed Hayes, two VIP volunteers and renowned mentors in VIP’s quiet title litigation practices.
Attendees will learn the full scope of how to litigate a quiet title action for a VIP client. You will learn how to identify which cause of action to bring between adverse possession, lease-purchase agreement, or fraudulent conveyance. And you will learn how to move procedurally through the case from start to finish. Questions are always welcome throughout the event. Attendees will earn 2.5 substantive CLE credits.
Registration for this event is now closed, please check our resource library to view recorded trainings.
