Whether you’re a pro bono coordinator with a lot on your plate, or at an organization without designated pro bono leads, we’re here to help you connect your colleagues with a meaningful pro bono experience.
If you’re eager to learn more about VIP before jumping in, schedule a VIP Roadshow at your workplace!
At these one-hour “lunch-and-learn” events, VIP staff members share a brief presentation about the VIP model and its benefits, leaving plenty of time for informal discussion with attendees.
We’ll tailor our presentation to suit your organization and its strengths.
If your organization already boasts a team of VIP volunteers, why not organize a Pro Bono Practice Group?
Not only do these periodic (usually monthly or bi-monthly) in-house meetings foster a sense of community among volunteers, they also allow participants to share case stories, troubleshoot substantive issues, and seek guidance from a VIP staff member.
Pepper's homeownership practice group is completely dedicated to this work, and meets once a month to review cases and brainstorm, thereby improving our efficiency and effectiveness.
There are plenty of other ways for your organization to get involved, including by hosting a training or clinic, or by financially supporting VIP – which helps expand access to justice for low-income Philadelphians facing critical legal issues and has benefits designed to complement your workplace’s strategic marketing objectives.
