Philadelphia VIP, the hub of pro bono legal services in Philadelphia, is sponsoring a free CLE training program for attorneys on the topic of landlord/tenant law. This program will provide an overview of landlord/tenant law, as well as practical information for representing a client in a landlord/tenant dispute in the Philadelphia courts. This orientation will provide an overview of VIP's history, pro bono service areas, and an in-depth review of the resources and tools available to support volunteer attorneys. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit VIP's office, talk one-on-one with staff, and develop a personalized pro bono action plan, tailored to the attorney's interest areas, schedule, and other preferences. Both new volunteers and volunteers who have already taken a VIP case are welcome to attend.
