Over 90% of tenants in Philadelphia lack representation in their eviction hearings, while over 80% of landlords have attorneys to represent their interests. This training aims to equip volunteers with the tools needed to expand access to justice in this critical area.
At this training, led by Vijaya Singh of Philadelphia VIP, Kadeem Morris of Community Legal Services, and Heidi Crikelair of Blank Rome LLP, you will gain an overview of landlord-tenant law and practical information for representing a client in a landlord-tenant dispute in the Philadelphia courts.
