This training, led by Senior Staff Attorney Mike Jones, will introduce volunteers to the probate process and empower them to resolve low-income clients’ homeownership issues. Viewers will also hear from Diane Zilka, a veteran VIP probate volunteer who had no experience probating estates before learning the process from VIP.
VIP volunteers help families obtain guardianship over their loved ones, enabling them to provide lifelong care and support. This training, led by Kathy Ochroch of Blank Rome LLP and Timothy Holman of Smith Kane Holman, LLC, will address the processes and procedures for initiating and completing an adult guardianship petition in Philadelphia County.
